WHAT AN AMAZING DAY – EVERY CHILD MATTERS!

We are still smiling looking back at this very special day. Seeing so many children laughing, playing, making new friends and simply being themselves is exactly why we wanted to create Every Child Matters.

A huge THANK YOU to every family who joined us and to everyone who helped make the day so special.

A huge thank you to Zi Foundation, who organised the event with the support of Pride in Place and Cambridgeshire Community Fund, and to Kaimas Lithuanian Restaurant – Village on Wheels for providing FREE meals for all the children.

We want to give a very special thank you to my dear friend Gintare Karin for Peterborough , who truly went above and beyond to help us make this event happen. From helping with the organisation to being there throughout the day, her energy, kindness and commitment helped us put smiles on so many children’s faces. Gintare, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

It was a real pleasure for the Zi Foundation team to spend time with the wonderful residents of Bishopsfield Housing Scheme, providing a freshly prepared hot lunch and enjoying some lovely conversations along the way.

A special thank you goes to our amazing Community Manager, Gintare Karin and Kaimas Lithuanian Restaurant whose generosity, dedication and hard work helped make this visit possible. Gintarė continually goes above and beyond to support local people, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she does for our community.

We would also like to thank the staff and residents of Bishopsfield for their warm welcome. Seeing people come together, share a meal and enjoy each other’s company is exactly what community spirit is all about.

This initiative is a natural extension of the work we already carry out each month through our free hot meals programme at St John’s Church, where volunteers and supporters come together to help those who may need a little extra support.

At Zi Foundation, we firmly believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Whether it is a hot meal, a friendly conversation or simply showing that someone cares, every gesture matters.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission of building a stronger, kinder and more connected Peterborough.

Together with volunteers and community partners, Zi Foundation served warm meals and support to those in need in our community. Zi Foundation served food to 3 different location 500 meals with love and compassion. Seeing their smiles was the greatest reward. Proud of our amazing teamwork.
